IGN released today the new one sheet poster for the Ender’s Game movie.
You can click on the image for a larger view.
What do you think of the new poster? As far as the film’s poster’s go it’s one we might have already seen before. I mean with the battle room and the Dragon soldier in frame. It’s sort of the signature image that they show a Dragon army soldier to promote the film.
One difference is the thumbnail grids of Asa Butterfield, Hailee Steinfeld, Ben Kingsley, Viola Davis, Abigail Breslin and Harrison Ford under the Ender’s Game logo. Those, I believe, are strategically placed. Ender’s Game has a great audience and in hopes of capturing more young readers or auidence to watch the film simply flashing the names of the actors wouldn’t be much help because some people don’t know who Ben Kingsley or Viola Davis are. It’s a way to help future fans see familiar faces instead of empty names.
Thanks to a tip to EnderWiggin.Net a fan encountered a rotating battle room in an Ender’s Game movie poster at an L.A. theater.
Click on the image to see the battle room move! This looks positively amazing! I’m making it my mission to look for this poster or one similar to it.
What do you think of the creative promo for the movie poster? Would it catch the eyes of bystanders to look into Ender’s Game? I believe so.
The Ender’s Game movie official Facebook page posted a new promo poster that includes Colonel Graff and Ender in his flash suit front and center.
What do you think of the new poster? Too flashy (no pun intended)? Too simple? Let us know in the comments?
In the great midst of the new revelation of the Ender’s Game movie poster, someone tweeted producer Roberto Orci about the anticipated Ender’s Game trailer and this is what he responded with:
It looks like soon we can get a glimpse of the EnderVerse. Though, we’d have to wait until Star Trek premiers hopefully we don’t have to wait to actually see the movie just to watch trailer. (Not a big Star Trek fan; no offense) They might leak the trailer online secretly before the movie premieres or just all together premiere it online before Star Trek releases. However they plan to show it, this is just some super exciting news that the fans can reel on for a couple of weeks.
What do you guys think of the trailer being shown with Star Trek? Let us know in the comments.
UPDATE: It has been confirmed by Summit that we can take Orci’s word on the trailer and expect it to be shown along with the Star Trek premiere.
Our wait is somewhat over. Yahoo! movies released today the teaser poster for Ender’s Game movie and the very first look into the battle room.

Yahoo also interviewed director Gavin Hood over phone and asked him about the production that went into building Ender’s Game.
The design of the Battle Room was the first challenge his and his production design team tackled when they began work on “Ender’s Game” over two years ago. Before they had a cast or even their full financing in place, Hood said, “We put together a 45-second teaser based around the idea of a character jumping out of a gate into zero gravity and just floating into this amazing space.”
Well, as stated in past interviews with Hood he said that the battle room would be at least a football field in size. Interesting enough, the sun that you can see peeking through the battle room can also be seen by the armies fighting. Gavin Hood decided to make the battle room transparent so it could create “’a really strange, disorienting experience,’ that would better capture the notion in the book that in space there really is no up or down.”
You can check out the interview here.
This looks amazing! There is so much to take in. Check back soon for a breakdown of the Ender’s Game teaser poster.
What do you guys think of the movie poster? Amazed? Not too excited? Let us know in the comments?
After almost a 9 month standstill the Ender’s Game Blog is active again and with some great news! Director Gavin Hood posted today a sneak peek of the soon to be revealed movie poster for Ender’s Game.

Along with the picture he mentions his relation to the novel and Ender himself. Stating that he, too, understands Ender’s “battles with authority figures he does not trust and his development as a leader”.
He also talks about space camp and the development of the battle room.
We are now well into post production and the famous zero gravity battle room scenes are looking fantastic. We started a year ago by sending our talented young actors off to a “space camp” to train under the guidance of real NASA astronauts. They learned to move in zero gravity environments and experienced the wonderful feeling of weightlessness. Mix in some truly incredible visual effects work and today we are looking at battle room scenes that will blow your mind!
That is just a taste of the sundae. The cherry on top is what he ends with:
Tomorrow you will get your very first look at the battle room with the reveal of the teaser poster on Yahoo! Movies. For now, enjoy a small tease of Ender’s feet at the gate! I wish I could show you more, but with just over six months to go before our Nov 1 release date, the poster will at least give you a small glimpse of what we are working towards.
Finally, tomorrow we will have a poster to identify our anticipated Ender’s Game movie. So stay tuned for the big reveal tomorrow!
